Power Tool #2: Scripture (part 2 of 2)

Power Tool #2: Scripture

God is continually teaching me the value of setting time aside for Bible reading. I read Christian blogs, articles, books, Bible lessons, and family devotions but God wants me to simply read His Word and listen to Him speak to me.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Thessalonians 2:15; So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

When we saturate ourselves in God’s Word, it naturally flows through our minds, off our tongues, and into our actions. The Bible is central to growing as a disciple of Christ. Get into God’s Word. God’s Word is a constant guide and “power tool” for building up lifelong followers of Him.
